Michelle Li

IP Strategist and Patent Agent Trainee

Michelle’s practice focuses on intellectual property (IP) strategy, patent drafting, and patent prosecution.

Michelle’s practical approach to IP protection and value capture comes from understanding the balance of business, logistical, and technical considerations based on her extensive experience both managing and contributing to industrial research and development. Her background in hydrogen fuel-cell technology, additive manufacturing (vat polymerization and binder jet 3D printing), polymer synthesis and characterization, hydrogel formulation, and graphite and conductive nanomaterials is rooted in doctoral level chemical engineering education.

Michelle values pursuits that combine discipline and creativity, and enjoys working through ideas visually and practically whether experimenting in the kitchen, figure skating, or practicing music. Michelle’s care, structure, and attention to detail these values and interests are a reflection of empower Michelle to provide actionable insights and valuable support.
